Angelina Jolie Baby

The Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie baby was welcomed into the world on May 27, 2006 in Namibia, Africa at 0140 local time. The couple called their little girl Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt.

Very little information has been given out but what we do know is the baby was born at the Welwitschia Clinic in Walvis Bay. A doctor at the hospital told the Associated Press news agency: "She is a healthy baby."

The government of Namibia helped Pitt and Jolie in their quest for privacy by refusing entry to reporters wanting to cover the baby's birth without the couple's written permission. A South African photographer was arrested for a second time after he tried to take pictures of the couple at a local restaurant, according to reports. Others have been asked to leave the country. The beach by the hotel where the couple were staying - in the village of Langstrand - had been surrounded with large green barriers, while bodyguards and undercover police officers are patrolling the area.

Shiloh Nouvel Jolie-Pitt will be considered a Namibian citizen.

In 2005 Brad Pitt announced his intention to become Jolie's children's adoptive father.

Off the set, the Hollywood star couple also set in motion the adoption of yet another child, a reported 3-4-year old Vietnamese boy, whom the couple renamed Pax Thien Jolie. Why not another Angelina Jolie Baby? She has become an ambassador for orphan children of the world.

It is rumored that Angelina Jolie is expecting a baby! Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt made shoes up at the Independent Spirit Awards.
