Ashlee Simpson Wedding CakeAshlee's cake was straight out of a fairytale book and no, it wasn't Cinderella! Their Alice in wonderland themed wedding was perfect for the two of them. The wedding cake was layered a little bit differently than a traditional cake. The 1st layer was a top hat, followed by a teapot, stop watch and topped off with a pot of flowers. Different? Yes! Fitting....I think so. The wedding definitely had a darker overtone to it. But what a great idea, make every layer of your cake a different shape or symbol, I kind of like it!The ReceptionThe 150 guest were served champagne, a sit down dinner, and danced the night away. The reception was a very relaxed normal wedding party. Ashlee did change out of her wedding dress and wore a black evening gown with a rock crystal necklace. In my opinion, it was beautiful. Ashlee's Wedding DressMrs. Simpson's wedding would not be complete without an amazing wedding gown. Her gown was custom made by Monique Chuiller. It was an ivory lace gown with a cathedral length veil. Unlike her sister Jessica's Wedding dress, Ashlee's has not been made for sale by the public.
