Courtney Cox Baby

Courtney Cox baby girl was born on June 13th 2004, and named Coco Riley Arquette. The actress, who turned 40 just a few days before had struggled both on screen and in real life to have a baby, suffering a number of miscarriages in the past.

Cox and film actor David Arquette, who married in 1999, have spoken about their battle for a baby. Cox went through in-vitro fertilization to have Coco, said she plans to do IVF again, even though, she says, "It drives you crazy with the hormones."

The child was originally to be named after her mother as Courteney Cox Arquette. However, David Arquette's family objected to this on the grounds that naming a child after a living relative goes against Jewish tradition. Coco is a nickname Cox's friends gave her mother when she was a child. Cox's close real life friend and "Friends" co-star, Jennifer Aniston, is the baby's godmother.

In June 2007, Cox announced plans to expand her family. The actress said she hopes to have a child through in vitro fertilisation despite battling post-natal depression after Coco's birth.
