Madonna Yoga

Madonna yoga - Madonna loves it so much that she incorporates yoga poses into her dance routines.

Madonna will turn 50 years old this year, and still looks better than the average woman. How does she do it? Ashtanga yoga is the key to her ripped arms and amazing flexibility.

If you are anything like me, you may feel that you have to sweat bullets to get into shape. I'd rather run or cycle than do strange poses for an hour. After taking a second look at Madonna's amazing body, I thought twice about my idea of exercise.

Ashtanga yoga is a very strenuous yoga. I wouldn't suggest trying this style if you are a beginner. Ashtanga yoga involves more strength and flexibility than any other style of yoga. If you are familiar with yoga, you may wish to learn more about the Ashtanga style of yoga. Ashtanga yoga can be so intense that it can be considered a cardio workout. I suppose it depends on the yoga teacher that you follow.

Madonna is so devoted to yoga. She says that,“Yoga is a metaphor for life. You have to take it really slowly. You can’t rush. You can’t skip to the next position. You find yourself in very humiliating situations, but you can’t judge yourself. You just have to breathe, and let go. It is a workout for your mind, your body and your soul.” Madonna.

In 1996 Madonna picked up yoga to get back into shape after she gave birth to her daughter Lourdes. 12 years later she is as devoted as ever. In fact, according to the local press, Madonna recently was seen booting out a New York yoga class to have a one on one with the instructor. I guess if you are Madonna you can get away with anything!

Yoga is not the only way Madonna stays in shape. She is adamant about eating a diet that is all natural. Unrefined food, whole grains and a lot of vegetables. You will also see her horseback riding and cycling at her local gym. I think she is an inspiration to all of us women. Being strong and healthy is so important to having optimum health.
