You would be surprised to find that most celebrities apply natural looking makeup when they are not at work. They don't always look all dolled up and glamorous. They do need to look great when they are just out at the grocery story. We can take some tips from them when it comes to natural makeup application.

1. Prepare Your Skin

Prepare your skin by applying a really great moisturizer, followed by a foundation that is sheer. Then apply concealer under your eyes to conceal those darker circles. Lightly dust on powder, only if your skin is oily.

Great Sheer Coverage foundation - Prescriptives Traceless Skin Responsive Tint SPF 8 $32.50 at presciptives.com

2. Define The Eyes

To play up your eyes without looking like you went overboard. Use a pencil liner to dot between the roots of your lashes. Curl your eye lashes and apply 1-2 coats of mascara. Also, do not over tweeze eyebrows. They should be glean but not over groomed.

Great Mascara - Clean Lash Tint

Great Eyeliner - CoverGirl Perfect Point Plus Liner in Espresso. You can find this at your local drugstore for around $5 dollars.

3. Warm Up Your Cheeks

Having a slight blush to your face is all part of natural looking makeup. Pick a blush that complements your natural coloring.

Fair Skin - Light Pink

Medium Complexions - Dusty Pink

Olive Skin - Peach or Bronze

Darker Tones - Plum

Go for cream blushes only if you do not have natural oily skin.

4. Amplify Your Eyelids

Apply only to your lids. Do not go above your lids for a nutural looking makeup. Apply a sheer wash or matte shadow. Pick a shade that is pretty close to your skin color for the best looks.
